Can someone who uses UV tell me the best eye protection to purchase and where?

Thank You,

Steve

When I first got my set-up I bought a welders helmet but only used it once or twice. To bulky and unwieldy. Since then I have never worn any protection but my light is enclosed in a box and the revolving cue rolls past the light in the box so I am never actually looking at it. I once did get a little sun burn on my arm once though.

An enclosed system is what you want. You don't need the eye protection if you have your UV light properly enclosed. There are many ways to accomplish this, search for pics of actual cue maker's systems and you will get an idea. One recent pic that might help you is in Darrin Hill's shop pics.
