Adding pictures to your signature

The max Signature picture file size is far less than the avatar max (@ 20kb vs 100). You must compress it further. As one option, Microsoft Office Picture Manager is software included in the popular Microsoft Office Suite of programs and can do the trick.

I follow a softball board and they charge you $5 to have a pic in your signature and to have a animated avtar

img is the image - the picture. You have to load them from your computer's drive into photobucket. I assume you click on photobucket's "browse button" and then go to the place in your computer where you store your pictures, and select the ones yhou want to load to photobucket.
1. Load picture to photobucket
2. resize to desired size (this will be the same size in your sig)
3. click the img button near the photo (this copies it)
4. go to az forum and hit edit signature
5. paste img code to signature.
6. hit preview, to make sure the size is good (don't make it too big)

Many consider adding pictures to your sig to be rude. It just adds excessive scrolling to every thread. There is at least one person on here who has 6, yes SIX pictures in his signature. If it's that important to you that people see these pics, I suggest puttling a link to them in your sig. Thats perfectly acceptible.
Another move that is really anoying is when a person quotes a post that already contains a very long string of photos. I just want to slap the guy that does that! :slap:

Appreciate the info. I'll keep that in mind, if I put anything in.
While I'm at it, when you see a post that has numerous sections from somebody else's post in blue then the person comments then another section with comments after that one etc. How do you do the blued section and then add your comment and do it again.

I agree about the long quote part, it's like when people use "reply all" in email when it's just not necessary for everybody on the list to see the reply.
