Noonan, BE THE BALL

This was the advice Chevy Chase kept giving Noonan in the movie, Caddy Shack.

As far as I'm concerned it fits the game of pool even better.

If we think along the same lines, in the game of pool, we would be much better off.

When we are trying to make shots we shoot the cue-ball at the object-ball. All we are trying to do is make a very small part of the cue-ball, contact point, hit a small portion of the object-ball to make it go into the pocket or to another desired place if we are playing safe or another desired shot.

The cue-ball is also commanded, by the shooter, to go to a desired place on the table setting up the next shot or leaving your opponent in a difficult place when you leave the table.

Next time your at the table, "BE THE BALL."

Nah, I'd rather "be the chocolate bar [in the pool]" and have everyone running out of the pool room screaming, leaving their cash behind up on the lights. :D

Maybe this is to simple of a solution to playing better pool.

I should have put a mathematical equation up here the size of Texas.

A lot pool is just plain old fashion, COMMON SENSE.
