I've got a lizard wrap cue or two... it makes me a little queezie to think the lizard was killed for his skin alone.:sorry: I always hoped some Australian woodsman was enjoying the critter on a rotisserie first. But my cats are my kids...and they come first.

nile or asian water monitor? kinda of hard to tell when they get this big....but my first guess is asian water......

It should be a water monitor. I was told there're bigger ones seen behind my home. Also, very often you will see these poor things run over on the road in my country.

Sorry for bumping this a month later but it came up in a search. I'm an Animal Control Officer for my town and about 2 months ago I got a call for a "lizard" roaming around. Now I'm from Massachusetts so we don't have much for lizards so I asked the person how big it was. Caller responded "oh, a few feet". That got my attention!

Turns out it was someone's pet iguana that got out of it's collar while sunning on their deck. It was a good 4 feet long with tail.

Sadly, the first thing I thought of when I picked it up was "I wonder how this would look as a wrap on my cue". I never told the owner that of course, but I still am amazed that my first thought was LIZARD WRAP!
