damn....i wouldnt sell that bad boy for anything....i am going to give you a guess of 6500 to 9000....however it depends on what someone is willing to pay but tonys cues are allways sought after....congrats on a great cue...

give it back to Tony for a refinish and new Shafts and the Value is going from 7000$ to 8500$ Bucks:eek::grin:

Very loaded question...

It appears you have a 4-Pointer build during the Mid 90's.
I have seen BB's (4-Point and 6-Point) from the same era of your cue that at one time used to fetch in the $5K to $7.5K range with two shafts, depending on design work and in pristine condition.
There were a few of this era that brought in much more during the peak of the scramble to acquire these cues in 2006-2007 but that has slowed down very quickly in 2008.
As soon as the economy went through it's adjustment and setback, those same cues have lost about $2K-$3K in street value (I do watch as I owned a 6-Point BB that was built after this one pictured).
The 8-Point cue is highly sought after as there are only 40-50 in existence.

Here is the history of the logo and potential time frame for your cue was built (maybe 93-96) ...

I will not assume a price on this cue as more details are needed (SS or Ivory Joint, finish appearance, and the point work).
Pricing is subjective and I cannot tell if you have an ivory joint which is preferred for a collectible cue.
You can see some information on pricing at this link but do follow up with the names and phone number on this page...

Good luck in your quest.

thanks for the answers. its a ss jointed cue, finish in very good condition 6point, razorsharp even points. the ivory, silver, ebony cue in the new pictures is a michael vollmer cue. he has learned cuebuilding by tony. i have heard that tony did not make shafts for his past customers. did you think it is a good idea to let vollmer make me shafts for the black boar?

I have a 6-Point Vollmer and have met Michael when he was in the USA this past year.
Great cue maker and a wonderful guy.

Not sure of your intent...
If you want to quickly sell the cue, any shaft by a reputable cue maker will help you sell the cue but you may not get a great return.
If you want top dollar on your investment, have Michael look at that cue to inspect the integrity of the cue and see if a refinish is needed.
If no work is needed, have Tony make the shafts and ship them to you where all you may need to provide is the overall diameter of the joint.
If any work is needed, go with Tony to preserve the value on your investment and make the shafts for maximum return.

Research and evaluate all your options as the cue is a great player with the correct shafts.

Not for sure, but........

Nice cue...I wouldn't sell it. I wouldn't swear to this but, I have heard that not many Black Boars were made with that particular logo on the butt. I don't believe that the BB custom logo was used for long, but I could be wrong about this. Mosdef, something worth researching...Good luck.

thats a 6pt cue.-good starting position.
it is from the BB Custom era.
It needs refinishing and new wrap to be top value
It needs at least 2 matching BB shafts- not somebody else's
when it is totally in perfect condition it is worth=$5k to 7k in todays depressed market.
In it's current condition its worth=$2500 to $4500. IMO from what I've recently seen.
