FS-Brunswick Anniversary Table

This is a sweet table and I've seen them go for double of what this asking price is.
 
definitely a good looking table! I wonder when the last time anyone paid double asking for one of these in similar shape. The economy has changed so much it's frightful. One went off on a local Craigslist for something like $1,100 or so and I missed it by half a day, damn!

Usually when you do find one that cheap, you'll end up spending more to replace the sub rail wood than you paid for the table. This is an early table it has the wood rails not the formica. The subrail wood gets beat up from 50 years of recovering the felt. Even in this economy $4500 is a fair price on this table.
 
The subrails have been replaced with new wood already. The only things this table could use is maybe a new felt and a Buyer!

why would someone(half fast bankr) write this BS about a table like this Anniversary table? with all the time and money the guy spent to put it back in shape after 50 plus years of use.

No problem johnnyv...when I read his post I thought to myself. Go ahead get that table off craig's list but be ready to spend a few grand to get it playable. It's an open forum so I expect a certain amount of this type of thing. I'm sure (half fast bankr) didn't mean anything negative towards the sale and thanks to the both of you for the bumps.:)

This is a table fit for a King. Absolutely top shelf. Nice offering.
