Anyone have experience with Sterling cloth? Would it be a good option for a 9' table? It's advertised as "compare to simonis" and looks to be the same material makeup

Are you talking about Milliken SuperPro which they are the exclusive provider of? If so, the SuperPro cloth is great, I've played on it a TON! It is very similar to Simonis 860. But that said, I still purchased Simonis 860 for my home table. It all depends on if the price difference is worth it. For one table at home, the small difference in price sent me to Simonis. If I was covering 20-30 tables at a pool hall, that difference in price would be VERY noticeable and I'd go with SuperPro...

I don't know if this is the same or not, but this is the Sterling I was referring to: http://www.insidepool.com/order/Poo...9+Worsted+Standard+Green+Pool+Table+Cloth?SID

It states it's worsted wool, 90% wool and 10% nylon. Ever heard of it?

I have used it on my table and have also installed it on tables that I have recovered. I think it is a quality product. I'm building my site..you can see what I did with my table. falconeddie.com

How does it compare to Simonis as far as speed and durability? It looks like they are marketing it as a Simonis knock-off. You can get it for $96 on Amazon.

I think it plays very similar. It is hard to tell because once your on it you forget about what it's called. Like the color of a car . It only matters when you buy it. I personally think you can get a quality product without paying out the nose.

Go straight to the source.... www.cuesight.com ...They are good people and do an awful lot to support the game....and I used to work for them years ago!

Does anyone on these forums sell this cloth? I'd rather support an AZBilliards member if possible.

Mr. Vmax is a Sterling dealer. As is Greg Savoie, Billiard Warehouse, and Troy, koininkid is also a Sterling Dealer.

As well the AZB STORE is partially a Sterling Dealer as the company that runs it, Seyberts is a Sterling Dealer for some products. I am sure that if you sent an email to them they would in turn make a call to Sterling and order whatever you need.

A teammate has a Diamond table and some of us get together every Wednesday night to play. He bought the table used and put a new cloth on it when installed. The cloth was getting worn and he replaced it. I asked how much he paid for and where he gets the Simonis from. He said said it is not Simonis and he never had it. I just assumed it was Simonis. It played fast, and had a tight weave. And I as I write this I don't know what color the cloth is. It is either green or blue. I guess I would never be a good witness as I don't really notice or remember many details.
