Another thread got me thinking
How much do these different issues affect value in your personal opinion and how do they affect your personal interest in a cue . Lets assume the cue is about a 5k retail piece.
Structural issue such as a roll in the butt, warped handle, rattle ?
If the structural issue was repaired by the maker does the cue come back to 100% value . What if it was repaired by someone else?
Cosmetic issue dings dents scratches? Refinished by the original maker does the cue come back to 100% value? What if refinished by someone else?
If the maker is deceased what should one do?
What if the cue has shafts less than 13mm or they are stained blue ?
What if a cue is sound both structurally and cosmeticlly but has changed hands several times recently?
