Will there be any tables available for action while the tournament is going on?
I noticed that this pool room is about one-half of a block from the Gulf of Mexico. Is the Gulf visible from the pool room?
Can't wait to try out some local cuisine!

The gulf is not visible form the pool room, but you can see Galveston bay when on the outside patio. There are two good restaurants close by that both serve good food. Topwater grill has a good selection of Seafood, while if it is oysters you are after I would suggest Gilhooley's. Fishing can also be awesome this time of the year very close to the pool hall, if anyone would like to set up a fishing trip while in town for the tournament send me a pm or email(captjohnhavens@att.net).
What kind of fish are caught at this time of the year? I assume the speckled trout are dormant as cold as it is right now.
Trout and redfish are both good right now.

I did get a room at Extended Stay Deluxe for in zone 20, 2 star Priceline for $32 a night. It's 16 miles from Caspers. I drove by it this past weekend and it's in a nice area and appears to be very well kept. You DO have to call if you need 2 beds.
