I tend to say I need the 'sissy' or 'cheater' stick. Usually gets a laugh until I make the shot then no one else thinks it's funny except me.

Called it a rake when we were kids.

Quite apropos when someone puts one on the floor next to the table too close to the area where you stand while shooting, and you step on its head by mistake, flipping the handle butt right into your forehead!*

* = Only happens with the old metal-headed bridges. Mooseheads tend to perforate the bottom of your shoes.
