I haven't been able to master S/D-9B on a barbox. This is a game that a player could consider as a specialty. It has so many nuances that you go to the table sometimes, look it over, and say 'what the hell do I do now?' You rarely get a 2nd opportunity.

Well, I got a good partner, Jason Crugar. He's a good 7. I'm an occasionally good 5. It's a 12 and under tourney at the Ox Sports bar in Phoenix. They specialize in having tourneys for low end players like myself so we have a chance to cash sometimes. And the cash is good there.
Some 8's bring there wives or girls who are 4's to play so they get tourney experience.
I'm starting to feel that you can't win if you overloaded at the top end . Like a 10 and a 5 in a 15 and under tourney. Your better of with an 8 and
a 7. That way the thinking is about the same and there is no player for opponents to pick on.
Partners is tough but that's what makes it fun. If I don't keep my game under control this time ( about my 6th try without cashing) I'll stick to singles from now on. :hug: or :bash: ?
