How is Efren doing? Does anyone know?

Last i heard he was having back surgery and I just wanted to know how he was doing and if he would be in shape to make the trip to the U.S. OPen One Pocket Championship in May.

He is playing right now in the Middle East in the 8 Ball World Championships.
The back surgery thing may have been bs.
