Certain speed players and above are barred out. Full on A++ pro or better. Richie must qualify and Shannon must not qualify, Shannon Daulton sets the threshold. I know of at least one local Indy player who is barred from the GSBT tour due to skill level. Brian Groce is not allowed to play we called and checked last year with intention of playing. It is a judgement call and I guess it is to keep out the very cream of the field.
Marge how does Shannon judge who can play and who cannot play. Is there a guage.

Shannon Murp is a beast! He is a great up and coming player and just continues to show his championship skills daily! Not that I am trying to take anything away from Richie but we just think Murp is a step above! Plus, he is the home town hero here at Michael's and several of the amateur, league, and locals would not have played.
Pool is the only sport that you get gtreat at it and get penalized! Very frustrating!

I think that a very proper call. Richie is great player, Shannon is on the way up, and he is absolutely a Monster. I don't think Shannon thinks about anything except pool. He is gonna be a very tough competitor for a long long time.

We got in bed around 630 am after the pics were taken and loading up and got some sleep til this afternoon! We still aren't home.... 7 hours drive from Ohio to South Carolina and we just got a bonus.... pouring rain driving through the curves on I40!
