You four guys have insinuated that Stevie Moore is a liar by the remarks you have made in this thread.
Now I know that's not what you meant, but you've opened that door and that's what you are suggesting.
You've suggested that Stevie may be paid for saying that he uses Pro One but that he really doesn't use Pro One as an aiming system. While I grant you that it is possible that he could be compensated for endorsing the product, it is unlikely that he is lying about using it.
None of you can possibly know whether or not Stevie uses Pro One. It is impossible for you to know if he uses Pro One or not, no matter how smart you think you are.
These aiming system threads don't mean anything to me personally. I don't have any stake in any of it. The good-natured ribbing amongst forum members is an acceptable forum practice.
But by making the statements you have made, you may not realize that you could be impeding an innocent person from making a living. I don't think you mean to do that. I certainly hope that's not what you intended to do. Regardless of your intentions, you must realize that these type of insinuations cast aspersions upon the character of Stevie Moore. Sponsors look long and hard at who they sponsor and don't take kindly to liars.
I hope that you will edit your posts at your earliest convenience as I know that none of you genuinely mean to injure Stevie Moore and his reputation.

PLEASE let him be your guest speaker and invite him back over here where the CTE disease runs rampant and is past the point of finding a cure.
We do not want the same fate to happen to onepocket.org. There is now a video posted that shows how CTE works with banks.

duckie, just a heads up regarding next weeks meeting of the United Naysayers of North America (UNNA). We've had to reschedule it from Tuesday afternoon to Friday morning due to a conflict of interest problem with our guest speaker Mr. Joey A. As you know his topic is going to be: "Aiming Systems and Alzheimers; Are They Related?"
Refreshments will be provided but we are asking members who attend to bring there own beer, and for safety reasons, cans and not bottles.
Our world outreach program is moving along nicely. Reports coming in tell us that player after player is abandoning aming systems and going au natural.
Donations are up. Checks from Pros wishing to remain annonnymu...annimonimu...unknown, are coming in at a surprising rate.

But now that I and other OnePocket.org'ers are noticing, CTE is actually a disease, and very contagious. I now think the acronym CTE is a medical one, and stands for:
[C]antankerous
[T]hreadposting
[E]ncephalitis
It's a very serious condition that takes over the host, causing him/her to continually generate and propagate copies of itself in the form of forum threads and vociferous defenses within them.
You're right -- forums need to be inoculated against it, lest they be taken over by it. But we'll need help! Perhaps we should start a ribbon campaign?

I went back and read a couple of your posts and realize that you only said that he had a vested interest in CTE/Pro One, ie. profit...... That may or may not be true but at least you didn't call the man a liar.I want to state that you have falsely accused me of being a "bounder" and it is not appreciated. No, I did it all by myself.
I have always stayed away from the aiming threads over here and am not a fan/believer. When Hal Houle would go into his systems at California Billiards in San Jose several years ago, I would get as far away from him as possible. Good guy, but I was and am a non believer.
Problem is, JB has started posting on one pocket.org and he IMO is poisoning the site with this stuff. He posts on almost every topic and finds a way to bring CTE into the conversation. We even get videos. But that is really not the main problem. Those that disagree openly are now subject to a rant and name calling. I have him on ignore and have cured that problem.
I know there are lots of players that believe, and that is fine, if they think it helps them it probably does. I know you are a follower and you seem to be doing ok lately.

Luv ya, man, but I'm going to have to disagree with the stance bolded above. It's one thing to freely allow someone to believe as he/she sees fit without ridicule or recourse. (I definitely subscribe to that.) It's quite another to allow that person to go overboard in polluting a forum with a very specific topic of interest (read: obsession), or to allow that person to continually side-step the main topic and divert all interactions with him to his particular topic of interest (read: obsession).
Want to talk about safing strategy when in a particular situation -- with WEI table diagram -- where each of the players needs only one ball? Somehow CTE gets injected into the topic by this person. Want to talk about what's the proper "move" where all the balls are up-table and there's no high-percentage shot (by high-caliber One Pocket player standards)? Somehow CTE gets injected into the topic by this person. Want to talk about which shot to take to maximize the "plucking field" of loose balls so that you can run the most amount of them into your hole (discussion includes WEI table diagram)? Somehow CTE gets injected into the topic by this person. You get the idea. It gets REALLY old, and when this person is told -- not by me, to make that clear -- that it's getting old, this person gets vociferous with his defenses.
Fortunately or unfortunately, his account was recently suspended on OnePocket.org. But the point is it shouldn't have to come down to that. Beliefs (and the freedom to express them) is one thing; propriety (read: time and place) is quite another.

I pretty much believe in the same things Joey. While I am not a believer in CTE, ALMOST everyone can do as they see fit and it is fine with me. But in this particular case it went way beyond the tolerence level.
I am not ridiculing him for his beliefs, I am ridiculing him because of the way he wants to pound it down everyones throats.
I am glad he is gone. I don't see him over here anymore either so maybe the same thing happened on this forum.
