Who's going?
Not going to play...but will be there rooting for my "honorary nephew", Matt Horner.
No sure which day yet...
Any planned action with Eddie this year? I was hoping OR would beat WA last year in that matchup (even though Horner was from WA before, right?).
I don't think I'm going to make it.. didn't stay in BCA last year.. may try to catch the GM Challenge if its streamed again, though.

Far as I know, Matt never lived in Washington. And I've known him since before he was born. Dunno 'bout any matchups..a stake horse, I'm not.
Banks,
You actually picked up another player this year with Zimmerman moving from WA. Still a tough task for OR to pull off, Wa has 7 players and then Stan from Canada. Odds arent in your favor, but Matt and Zimm can definately play so it should be a fun one to watch.
Oh yeah, the stream is going to be done by Rail2Rail for the entire week.
Hmm.. thought I saw an article in The Break mentioning something about MH living up in WA for a bit. My memory isn't the best.. so..
Zman moved to Medford? Hmm.. Zack was pretty far under the weather last year.. but looks as though he's not on the list this year. Vancouver, WA is more Oregon imho, so we're going to claim Atwell, you can have the rest! What happened to Portland?![]()
I'll be there playing in the team event. 9th-13th[/QUOTE
Team event doesnt start till the 11th, guess your just coming down a couple of days early to hang out...
PWD,
Last year I rmember watching the stream for the Grand Masters Challenge with you, I go by whidbeyislander on the streams. Wasn't Matt in the lead until the last two matches last year? Maybe I am wrong, but I know he was in the running and he wasnt really playing that much prior to the event if I recall.
One more thing, any great "mom and pops" "greasy spoon"restaurants to eat at in Lincon City? You know, the type of place everybody usually drives by and says "what a dump", but meanwhile its the best food in town.
Thanks

If what's left of my memory is correct.. I think at the beginning the GMC was pretty close to start it off.. and then Atwell's lead just kept getting further and further ahead of everybody else. Not sure how well Matt was doing in it. Was hoping that Geiler would've done better.. I remember Matt matching up with Eddie afterwards.. I think Eddie's break was doing well(not surprising) and it wasn't long before it was over.

Matt was in the lead for a spell, but kinda fell apart later on..."Stan the man" should add an interesting factor this year.
Good eats? I like the brewpub, part of the McMenniman's chain, across the highway from the casino. Also, in the same area of the brewpub is a local cafe with a 50's theme. Killer milkshakes there...made from hard ice cream, the old fashioned way. Also, good burgers, etc. Alas, I was diagnosed type 2 diabetic...can no longer enjoy those. The dining room of the casino serves good lunch meals, don't know of their evening fare. I avoid the "food bar" or whatever they call it downstairs level of the casino...YUK!
Haven't talked with Matt for a couple of months. Maybe his wife is afraid I'll invite him to a party at Charlie Sheen's place?Anyway, plan on giving him a ring tomorrow.
Ok, so I want to go and watch but want to make sure I can get in, are 20 year olds aloud to spectate? Or are you required to be 21 to even go in the casino?
Thanks!
Simon
