Display Match Live on TVs in Bar

Hello All,

I am looking for a way to display the matches that I am recording live on televisions throughout the bar. Do all video cameras have this live display feature or are there certain types I should be looking for?

After reading many of the posts, I found the Panasonic PV-GS320 and 500 to be the best low cost cameras for streaming. I may want to stream at some point, but for now I just want to display the match live in the bar.

Lou,

First we need to know how you are recording them? Hard drive? DVR? Camera hard drive? DVD? From there a suggestion can be made on how to get it to your TV's.

Do you want sound too or just picture?

How I am Recording

Hi Ray,

I haven't actually purchased the camera yet. I am looking to buy new or used and don't want to spend more than $200 on the camera. I was thinking about going with a camera with an internal hard drive. Sound is not necessary.

Tough order. Most of the Cams with internal Hard Drives won't stream. If you plan on streaming too, go ahead and spend a little more and get a cam that can grow with you a little.

You used to be able to get a Sony dcr-hc52 for around 200. You could actually start a thread saying you are looking for a camera. Someone may have one laying around.

I have a hard drive Sony that cannot stream but does hook right to the TV. It's currently not for sale though. :(

Good Morning Ray,

So I will be taken you and several others advice and going with a miniDV format. I am trying to decide which one. I have been looking at the Panasonic PV GS320 which has been going from about $100 - $160 on ebay. It looks like I might be able to get the Sony dcr-hc52 or the Panasonic PV GS300 for around that same price.

Do you have any recommendations?
