Hello folks,

I have been working with a taper shaper for a couple of weeks now and have a couple of quick questions that somebody, currently using the taper shaper will have no problem in answering right away.
Just trying to cut the learning curve on a couple of details.
Pm me your phone number or call me at 209-482-7768.
Thanks!

Tony,

Ever think about contacting Unique Products to buy instructional DVD for your Taper Shaper?:shrug::shrug: That's the best way learning how to use that Machine.

except they dont cover how to clean it, or do maintnance on it or how to actually get the headstock and tailstock aligned so you can make a round cue.
just saying.

i watched the video and had one for a while and Joe Baker stops over and says "whats wrong with your taper shaper?" and i go "didnt know there was anything wrong with it joe" next thing you know joe has it ripped apart and showing me how to take care of it and do regular maintnance on it, that the video never covered.

alll a thing of the past as my awsome CNC machine is my favorite thing in the shop now :-)

I do have the DVD, however I had few questions that have been answered. Also, the DVD does show how to clean up the taper shaper (towards the end).

Cleaning needs a brush? Air gun? Vacuum?:D
