Shane/Earl 5' X 10' Set Up Right?

Everyone says that the table they are playing on is set up right. I have to diagree. Too many balls by BOTH players have been hit dead center pocket and came back on the bed of the table and I believe the rail is sticking out by the side pockets. I also saw the balls roll off many times so far. To me that's not a hard table, it's a table that needs some work. If Shane is really looking for a 5'x10' for his basement to practice on, I'd look for another table. Johnnyt

i think the pockets are just a little to tight. 4.5 would be just right for this big table.

I have all six 4" pockets and if I hit center pocket as hard as I can, the ball stays in the pocket. Johnnyt

Straight in center pocket at high speed is the same thing on either table. The ball should go down. Weather it's 50 mph from 7' or 10' foot. Either the pockets are too hard or not angled right. Conversions never work out perfect. Johnnyt

I watch this match for over 7 hours last night. Not one ball that hit center pocket bounced out. They both dogged some easy shots... but that is gonna happen in the course of 7 hours. We might dog a few of those once in awhile, they just do it a lot less often.

If Earl hit dead center pocket and the ball spit out, he would have gone absolutely, without a doubt, freaking ape sh*t....it just didn't happen last night....

They were hanging balls, because the table is 5x10, and a lot more green, and cb is being hit a litle harder to bring her around the table,.. especially Earl, who is trying to get cb as close to next shot as possible because you can't make 10 long shots on this table and expect to get position everytime..... you gotta get the cb close. There are shots being played safe on that on a 9footer there is NO WAY they play safe on that same shot........
