11:00 AM START – Sign-ins will begin ASAP and the tournament will start shortly thereafter!!

ALL PLAYERS WILL BE HANDICAPPED BY TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR TOM KARABATSOS. HANDICAPS START AT 2 AND END AT 5 1/2 (1/2 GAME MEANS WHEN YOU ARE GUARANTEED MONEY BACK, YOUR HANDICAP INCREASES A FULL GAME)

So this post is for who exactly? It sounds like only the people in your league can play in the tournament. If so, I imagine they already know about it so they don't need to stumble across this post. Am I not reading it correctly?

As long as you play in a league, any league, in one of our host locations...you're eligible to play in the WSOPool. The reason being is we need to be able to get a good grasp of what your handicap would be if one of us had never seen you play before. Your $25 would either go towards your league membership fee, if you want to participate in our weekly league, or it could go towards a sanction fee making you eligible for all 4 monthly $1000 added tourneys. $15 entry fee in each of the 4 tourneys.

Sadly I can't make it tomorrow regardless. However, like Doggin, I'd like to know the host locations as well. Thanks!
 
I heard there wer 53 players and it took two days to complete. There were some problems getting all the ducks in a row. First time is never the easiest thing, kinda like a shake down cruise on a new boat. Believe that Lance Mayer (sp) won, and I'm sure will see Tom or Dan fill in the rest of the info soon.
