Homemade vs By Hand Ball cleaning?

I've had my homemade ball cleaner/polisher for about two years now. I've changed the carpet three times I think...maybe four. Anyhow, I cleaned and polished the balls by hand this morning and they are much slicker/polished than when I use the machine. The same break with the Majic Rack and the wing ball misses the corner pocket by almost a foot. I never miss the wing ball when balls are cleaned by the machine. That's how muck better they are by hand. Question; is there anyway to clean the homemade ball polisher w/o taking the rug pieces out? Thank you. Johnnyt

Is it possible to use a small carpet cleaning tool to spray, brush, and suck it up? Maybe while running? I am going to give my Blud cleaner a try now that you made me think about it.
