Cue help..

Hey guys..

I am working overseas as a civilian contractor and the base I am at has several pool tables and several very good shooters. The reason I said all that, is because my 20 year old Muecci cue is at home and my wife can't find it to mail to me. The best part of all, is I get to buy a cue online. I gave myself a budget of between $300.00-$400.00 for the cue plus case to go with it.

I need help selecting a new cue. I am a regular amateur shot and no pro by any means but I do play good enough to win a pool tournement everynow and then. Any help will be appreciated..

That is certainly the best point (that you get to buy a cue)

I'd look for a used Schon or a plain jane from a good custom cuemaker.

Thanks for the help, dr..

I researched on here and saw that McDermott would not be a bad choice.. I am probably going to go with them, because I do not want to have to wait on a custom cue and I want to stay away from used, since there is no way to put hands on it prior to buying..
