Here's one of the worst GC3's I've ever had the pleasure of working on. 5 GC3/2 rails, meaning they were mounted to the pocket castings with the GC2 hardware, while the end rail was an early GC3 rail with the threaded inserts in the ends of the rails. I had to replace all the floating nut plates because they were all pulled through the bottoms of the rails, build new sub-rails, replace the cushions, correct the miter angles, extend the rails to 4 1/2" corners, 5" sides. What a job I tell you. Colorado is another state on my list of states that DON'T have pool table mechanic's...but they have hackers that's for sure:angry:

Who ever worked on this table in the past...did a real bang up job on it, that's for damn sure. Brunswick played a role in this table as well, in that all the rail blind mounting blocks on one long skirt were all mounted in the wrong place...then someone that tried to put the table together found out it wouldn't line up right...so, they just broke off all the mounting blocks and mounted the skirts with sheet-metal mounting brackets...nice job.

When I grow up...I want to learn how to shim slates to level them like in these pictures.

Had to even take the leg pedestal stabilizer off and repair the ends right so that the table wouldn't shake back and forth...because the 4 wood screws someone used to hold the end together with the mounting block just didn't cut it.

These tables were at the Colorado Springs Elks club. After working on these tables....I'm going to have to think twice about working on any more tables in Colorado
