Do you have a website? This lathe looks very well thought out and built with quality in mind. Also, is their an automatic feed and taper turning option for it?
My website is
www.customcuelathes.com
The lathe I took with me to Vegas is a new model, so it's not on my website. I will be updated my website in 2 weeks with the new ultimate repair lathe and the all new cue building lathe. I have made introducing new styles of repair lathe every couple of months, mainly to get a feel of what my customers like, well now the marketing trials are over, and I already chose 5 models that will be available to choose from plus 2 new concept machines coming later this year
The 5 models are: listed low to high
1: Basic Repair Lathe starting@ $899 ( made with taig standard U-channel)
2: Tool box lathe staring at $1400
3: Ultimate Repair lathe with my new H-channel starting @ $1400 ( same as picture above)
Based on 38" bed with full lead screw gear plus 30" extension.
4: Ultimate repair lathe ll: starting @ $1699 and is based on 48" bed with my new H-channel chassis, this model is very similar to the third model with the exception that this has the tall headstock and tall steady rest. This model is specifically designed for customers who wish to upgrade their repair lathe to a cue building lathe, there are no marked up pricing for taper bar & auto feed, they are the same price whether you buy them upfront or 2 years later.
5. Cue Building Lathe: finally the Cue building lathe is based on the the ultimate repair lathe ll with taper bar and the all new independent direct gear drive auto feed system.
This unit will have a base price of $2899. ( includes router and router bracket and my new carriage too plus a lot more)
All those models can be customized further more to what ever the customer needs. Beds are available in any length up to 70"
Best Regards
