Entry fees can be personal checks (postmarked by 6/11), money orders or cashiers checks made out to "Carom Room". Mailing info is:

Couple more entries in the mail. I think everyone is waiting to show up at the door on June 25th! Guarantee your spot now by sending in your entry fee. Otherwise show up early the doors open at 10am on the day of the tourney ;)
 
Fast indeed! Only two more weeks to go for the first annual Summer Showdown at the Carom Room.

Everyone is welcome. All games can be played. Check out the flyer on page 1 of this thread for details.
 
Bump for some summer POOL in the Midwest. I have talked with alot of players here in my area and they are pumped up about this event!:thumbup:

We will have flyers ready with the next season schedule for those that like paper.


And for those who like to watch good pool, we will be having an invitational tourney on Aug 6 & 7th. Many of the top midwest players will be going head-to-head. No cover charge.
 
Doors open at 10 am on Saturday, June 25th for free practice on the bar tables until noon. Lights out for the calcutta and no shooting on tourney tables! First round of matches called immediately after conclusion of calcutta.

Can't make it to your June event (lousy wedding to go to). I am curious about the invitational tourney in August, any details on that, yet. Who's invited? Masters only?

48 player invitational. $100 entry fee (no greens fee) with $2000 added. Race to 11 9-ball on the Diamond barboxes. Calcutta!

Dave wants a "good" tournament with strong players. Most of which have played in tourneys at the Carom Room in the past. Getting positive feedback from the players invited so far. Haven't quite filled out the field yet as we are waiting on several responses.

Anyone wants to know more just come on down on June 25th and we will provide all the answers!!

I snoozed and missed the 6/11 postmark date. Can I still mail the entries in?

The 6/11 date is for personal checks. Money orders or cashiers checks are the way to go now. Cash at the door works too but no guarantee on spots available.

Joe, I can only run 3 balls on a regular basis but I'm still giving it a shot!
