Took the cue out of the mailman's hands, jointed it and hit some balls...video.

Cue screws together tight, has a balance point of 19 3/4" butt made of a wood you don't see much, Osage Orange. Looks and plays great. I got lucky for a cue off the internet which I hadn't hit any balls with.

I'm considering ordering a second shaft and might, emphasis on might, sell my Schon sl-5 which I've played with for several years. I'll have to play with it for more than one day before I make that decision but my first impression is I'm very satisfied with this Woodworth.

This is good to hear
I have an old WW being refinished by Chris Byrne, that I haven't played with in years.
In fact, i've never really played with it at all.

6-point ebony / tulipwood, very nice looking cue.
I may order a second shaft from WW as well...3/8-10 pin

Now i'm anxious to get it back so I may start bugging Chris about it.

good advice

Even if you love your new cue, take my advice don't sell your Schon. I am on my third schon and believe me I wish I would have never sold the other 2 the first being a Runde cue which I had no idea about them in 94 of how That same cue sold for over 2,000 dollars on ebay last year. Ouch yeah. well good luck with your new cue and I will take the 6,7,8, and the last 4. lol.

I know what you mean. This Schon has been my daily player for several years but I really like this Woodworth. I'll play another month with the Woodworth before I make a decision and if I do decide to sell the Schon I will have to get what it's worth.
