I want to replace a tip on my predator shaft-anything I should be concerned about?
Ive heard they are not the same as other cues...
Is that right?
THANK YOU

The ferrules are quite soft. If you like to burnish the tip, or sand at high rpms, you'll melt that sucker. Other than that, they're pretty much the same as normal.

ok,
thank you

What Sheldon said is very true, however, with a little care and slow speed it is no problem. You can use standard Super Glue Gel as the adhesive, just keep it of the ferrule like any other shaft, masking tape will work fine.

The OB shafts are the ones that need special care, they have a Carbon Fiber Pad on top of the ferrule that if removed will ruin the shaft. Don't know if you knew this or not but sometimes people confuse this information when thinking of Predator Shafts.

Hope this helps
