When I bought the maple it was labled as curly. Looks more like burl to me! What would you call it?

don't think its maple burl now that i see a better picture, but its badass.
Good job

Larry does excellent work and is a great communicator. His cues are da bomb, very very reasonably priced (for up and coming cue maker) and I recommend him highly for anyone seeking US made custom cue that looks and plays great at great price.

He totally turned me into 60 inch cue believer with his cue.

I hope to do a fair and in-depth review of his work soon but I wanted to give his cue more playing time and the fact is while I'm fairly fast with my PayPal account, I'm very lazy with my time ... Those of you that know me, I don't dish out praises very often.

I can't wait to see this cue in person soon ...

Thanks for the comments. Finaly got it done. Will get it in the mail Monday!

I think you should call it Burly Maple.. Looks Great.

Looks like quilted maple, but then, the top side (90 degrees), curly. Whatever one calls it, it looks great!

Greetings from Switzerland, David.

This is NOT quilted maple in person. Definitely curls there ...

Guess I will return to my original desription. It's narly, ugly, f--- up piece of maple that will look great in a cue.

Have you hit with it yet?

Larry
