Selling this for a friend, it is in my possession so any questions you have, please let me know.

Looking to get 950 for the cue. It is in very good condition and plays well. It also has a rare radial pin that very few schon sp's have. Please pm or email me at danktrees1212[at]gmail.com if interested.

***I also have a regular 5/16x14 schon shaft that's brand new for sale. It doesn't fit this cue as it has a radial pin but it will fit any other schon with their usual joint configuration. I will let that go for 75 if the buyer wants it as well.

  • BEM forearm with ebony points and buttsleeve
  • Red and black veneers
  • Ivory diamonds in each point and in diamond array in buttsleeve
  • Checkered ringwork at C,D,E positions
  • Butt - 14.66oz.
  • Shaft - 3.97oz., 12.3mm with layered tip (i think it's a moori)
  • Flat face radial pin which is pretty rare on schon cues
  • Black with white speck irish linen wrap

Hi danktrees I am going to be at shooters on thurs and fri, and sat for the ten ball i would be interested in the schon shaft for 75 bucks , ask for me my name is Mike Young, eveyone knows me, like chris orme eric h johnny morra , mario etc, cheers Mike..

Nice looking Cue

The cue resembles Schon Original R Series (R15 model) and the pin is the only reason I'm not presenting an offer. Not a thing wrong with this version Schon joint. It's just that I already own two Schons and both have stainless 5/16-14 joints. I already have six Schon original shafts and four have ivory ferrules & the shaft size range from 12.6 to 13.2mm. So as you can see, I have a broad selection of shafts to choose to play with and having a diiferent joint pretty much obviates ahaving that flexibility in playing options. Its a very nice looking cue....Best of Luck...you shouldn't need it...you've set a fair price fo this quality cue.....Matt

yea from what i could gather, only a few schon models have the radial pin. they all seem to be sp models too. the cue plays well and it's a bonus that it has a nice design with sharp inlays.

arent Mitered Veneers another term for Bridged veneers. this cue doesnt have that. or am I'm thinking of another term?

You could think of them that way.

What Cedric is saying, I think, is that the points are sharp, and the veneers are mitered to sharp points, not rounded like CNC.

Most of us refer to that as having spliced points, but mitered veneer points is correct, too.

well from my understanding, mitering is a method to put the veneers together. bridged veneers or points is a design so the two things are different. one described an assembly method (for lack of a better word) while the other is a design element.
