So, how'd the golfing go?

Stayed up late last night, no golf today. Playing at 8:40 tomorrow at La Paloma Coutry Club.

Then a 6:08 tee time on Friday.

It was all old 'war stories' last night. Earl talked about playing Kid D (Bassovich) last night. He lost to him for the hotseat, then came back to meet him again in the finals. Dbl elimination, race to 9. He said it took 10 hrs to finish it.

Earl has never taken lessons from anyone.

He used to be +2 back when we were neighbors and playing a good bit. Not sure how much he's playing lately.

He was the club champion of Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro N.C. Where we both lived.

I did beat him last time out. I was having a good day till we hit the last hole. Earl looks at me and asks "do you have any idea what you are shooting?"....I didn't. Turns out I was 2 under standing in the fairway getting ready to hit my 2nd shot after a good drive.

Yep, I knocked straight sideways... double bogey!!

No, he moved to Coco Beach Fla. a few months ago.

It's a tough life for sure.
