WPC 9 ball in Qatar

I'm really impressed by Yukio, he's a young guy, new to the finals field, and playing against one of the greatest players in the world, and not to mention he is also playing against the crowd (a rather nice crowd tho) but still, we have like maybe 60% to 70% of the crowd from the phillipines and are rooting for Alcano, but still playing strong, good stuff.

The stands are filled with people. That is GREAT for pool. Yukio is indeed holding his own with Alcano.

I just sent my first TWEET.

I guess that means I am no longer a Twit. :D

Ronnie misses a masse. Yukio BIH. Go Yukio!

Edit: looked like a masse but apparently he missed a jump.

Japanese is starting to feel the pressure. Ronnie can tie up the score now. GO RONNIE THE VOLCANO ALCANO !!

yukio should have played the 1 to 9 combo when he has ball in hand, don't you agree? Why he choose the runout , I don't understand.

I do not know why he did not play the 1-9 combination too. It was pretty obvious and you bet Ronnie would have played the combo if he was the one with BIH.

Alcano is not in his best form I gotta say, he's been to so many finals, and not to mention the US Open final two times in a row thats huge, it tells you about his level of play, yet he miss these type of shots today as you witnessed, I gotta say it makes me feel better about myself as a player :P

You are precisely correct. Alcano seems to get to many "finals" but has failed to capture the golden ring on quite a few occasions. I don't know what he is missing to put it altogether but if I am not mistaken, they have psychologists that work with them. Ronnie needs to not be quite so confident and realize that he has to work for every ball, just like the next pro. The differences between these pros and not very much and one shot missed in one match can dictate who wins the match.
