JA just sent me a TXT, he just won a match 7-1. Thats a great field, Glad its a good tournament.

The Swanee, Ginky, Richard Sweet, Andy Murcer, Clyde Childress torunments are all great events, I'm not sure if the Clyde Childress tournament is still going. My point is why cant we have other tournments in addition to these great events? The way it seems is, if more pool players died then there would be more tournemnts. And thats horrible to think that way.

God rest his sole, But if Gink hadn't passed away would there have been a tournament that weekend? I sure would like to see more tournmemts than just the memorial ones. I think its great to honor anyone in the pool family with a tournament and it keeps our lost friends alive in pool. But in addition to memorial tournaments there should be other reasons to have even more tournaments.

Terry Stonier had the Fathers Day tournament, I'd sure like to see those in addition to the momorial ones.

Just a thought,

beat a lady friend of mine 7-1 but she had fun!!!

I don't see any streams going out of here but this place is packed today.

I would say there is an easy 250 people in here.

former streamer

There was a former streamer in the house :D. It's a great tournament ,lots of people, got to talk to about 10-15 people, met a few road legends, and did not have to worry about cameras ,people who can't get the stream to work ,or God forbid Ustream going down or the internet itself causing a FREEZE !!I'm headed back later to see finals .A tournament director told me once he was not to hyped on streaming .He said he would rather see the pool rooms packed instead. It was nice to see a full house at Mr. Cues last night.

Tommy Kennedy just sent Johnny Archer to the 1 loss side.

6 Players left:

Winners side is Tommy kennedy vs Larry Nevel

One Loss side =
Johnny Archer vs Josh Roberts
and
Shawn Putnam vs Clint McCullough

That is correct Matt. Our research shows that if we LS local events we lose 40-60% of our local spectators in the pool room as many of them will just go home and watch the event. Judging from the spectator turnout at this event tonight it looks like it was a great decision as the HOUSE IS PACKED !!

i'd like to say thank you to mike and terrie for running this tournament the last two years and hope they continue to run it for us every year. it is not easy to give up your holiday weekend to run a tournament i'm sure and we appreciate it.

They thank you very much ;-) And I am positive they love doing it as Richard was a great man in our sport and they enjoy every minute of the event as much as everyone else.

Thank you to everyone that came out to support the events!!!

We hope to see everyone back at Mr Cues for the next 2 MaximBilliards.com tour events that will take place there this year. They will be in Auguat and December this year + there will be one more in ATL at CUES in Marietta, GA on the 1st weekend in August. See the tours schedule at http://mxmbilliards.com/tour/ for more info... Additionally, www.maximbilliards.com and the MaximBilliards.com Tour just signed on as a sponsor for Tommy Kennedy's SE 9-Ball Tour and will be providing advertising support for his events. Tommy will also have an event at MR Cues in August 2011. We hope to see everyone at these next 4 events in the ATL area...

I don't speak for the people who put on the Ginky memorial tournament. Its my understanding it was a joint effort of three regional tours. Looking at the combined schedule for all three tours involved, they would've have at least 46 stops for this year. So, I think there would've been a tournament in the area, regardless.
