No, never even heard of him. How much yesteryear we talking about??
Actually, my father is from the south (Richmond, VA) moved to Chicago when he married my mother. So, I grew up with some "hillbilly" food, and RC and Moon pies were the nuts. I won't even talk about the Karo syrup, butter and peanut butter mixture to dip our hot biscuits in.... I don't think I could even eat that now..... sounds disgusting,, but I loved it as a kid,,,,

If it's gonna be candy, I like Hot Tamales. Puts a little "kick" into a sip of crown Royal :thumbup:!!!
But......I always eat before I go to the poolhall. If I'm there late enough, there is this woman that comes in off the street with a trayload of assorted hot sandwiches (foil-wrapped). Every once in a while, I treat myself to a pulled-pork sandwich.
