Got to go play in League no time..I might be considering selling my 89 Franklin Southwest...Here or Ebay? Not a fancy or plain Jane....letter from Lauri also authenticating it Birdseye Maple Nose,6 Point Macassar Ebony:red, black, blue veneers,Irish linen black,Base also Macassar with Birds Mpl Butt Cap DEc Rings are Black Phenolic with SW Sig 7-3 Slot in white. Refinished in 04 by Lauri and the gang with new shaft 20 oz,58...also considering my pers favorite old possible 1976 Original Palmer(Silver/Tinfoil)...love this cue so much,( balanced like perfect) steel joint but might be able to let go..maybe anyway I do not play with them much due to my Paranoia of theft, robbery etc..besides SW is a bit butt heavy for my taste...One more thing on the Palmer(Searing Shaft) never has been refinished and the other reason scared of adding to the wear to it. Later Jim

Added Photos I think enjoy if it worked

If you sell this cue, will your name change to another cue?

Anyway welcome.

If you plan on selling here and NOT wasting anyone's time, I suggest accurate weights and dimensions along with clear pictures. Sounds like a great cue that should sell rather quickly with an LOA.

ESCROW!!!!!

89 Franklin

Have some patience guys I do not live on the internet..anyway the stated dimensions are from Lauri and the shafts I have are one orig Franklin( close as I can tell anywhere from 12.4-12.7mm) and the other shaft is 13mm made by Lauri and the crew (I have no calipers to make accurate measures nor close to someone that has one)....I think I forgot to mention that Lauri did a refinish and I have joint protectors made from SW also for the cue. They were made matching and not free either!!!! cost an arm and a leg for them. Take a look at the pics and I am really considering letting go of this gem...but it's so hard, right fellow collectors or SW enthusiasts...jim...I am having a consult with Chris the Palmer Collector to asses the Palmer I have... You want to talk price? I have many people at this time wanting to know a price...I know market value for the Franklins so step up and let me know what you!! want to pay for this and we will negotiate, but be aware it's several people that want this gem so what do you want to pay up for it? Don't be dumb and low ball wont work except waste our!! time. Jim the reluctant seller.....peace. floridabased@aol

My Cue's story

Forgot to mention supposedly I have a true story that came from Chuck Taylor at Paradise Cues where I bought the cue eons ago..anyway according to Chuck this Cue was bought by or for Boston Shorty of which he did not like the weight balance such as I do(bit Butt heavy for my taste)and he cased it and never played with it again and as how Paradise got it I have no idea...I asked Lauri whom the cue was made to validate this story and she refused to reveal that..so if you have any ideas call Chuck, I talked to him about the cue so I am assuming he still works for them in NJ???...he wanted to buy it back for same price? No fat chance there since it has remarkably went up in market price since I bought it,not to mention the refinish, new shaft and joint protectors made...jim as for my personal references speak to TK or the Bull,D.Searing as well (T. Kennedy and J.DiToro) as I have known them more than 10 years. I also have played against them and in the 2002 US Open against Marcus Chamat and Jim Rempe (yep you guessed 2 and out but I was there with Rempe..not to much with Chamat(kicked my a$$$)So now you know I am real and with stories...onsite escrow prob needed since I don't know you....Jim Hannah
