Dave Barenbrugge -Best Player ever

Hey guys/gals, enjoy my new player. Ive seen alot of cues and owned alot as well, this is the best playing cue to date period.

I bought this Dave Barenbrugge Brazilian Rosewood player direct from Dave which he made for himself personally, but decided to part with. I was lucky enough to get this cue and lucky that a few people I know didnt pull the trigger first so I could get it. High figure old growth brazilian rosewood(pics dont do it justice).19 oz, 58", purple heart underwrap, elephant ear wrap, fancy ring work at all positions and a titanium pin.The fancy joint protector for the butt was made of the same wood,has ring work and elephant ear too. Premium shafts feel great. wish the pics were better but enjoy

Very nice ...the ring-work is outstanding to say the least, but with that wood combo the cue screams to be played :smile:
 
I am almost sure that this is the same cue or similar to a cue that Dave brought to the cue show in California. My thoughts are... A pj on steroids, museum grade cue. Dave makes an awesome playing cue and his attention to detail is second to none. Congrats. Absolutely love those jp's, I think they have elephant ear on them.

Nice Steve! We have a couple of Dave's cues coming in a couple months... I can't wait! Best playing cue period is a HUGE statement coming from you, because you had the best playing cue period I have ever had my hands on.
 
Very nice. Dave uses awesome quality wood & his rings are just insane.
The term pj is kind of an injustice for this cue.

jamie, your gonna be honored to be one of DAVES DEALERS. Which is why im sure ya chose to take his cues on to begin with.Also with Dave being an awesome guy to deal with and You being a great person as well, people will be happy as he!! with the two of you!!! :)

Yes ive had them all, i dont discredit any one of those makers when i say this is best hitting cue so far, but thats the truth.i buy and sell alot, i only sell cause i keep searching for the hit of a life time, i keep getting better and better cues from top makers.i even stay with the same makers,trade up, and their cues keep getting better,greed??well a tad but i will search till there is no more searching and i cant complain now cause i found the best hitting plain player so that search is over, this one takes the cake,, it will stay with me

every cue i own at this time will stay unless i quit pool im done with my collection in my signature, if i buy another it will be your ron haley jamie hahahahahahahahhahahhahahahah ;)

I love the rings on this cue! I have been an avid fan of brazilian rosewood especially for a "player" cue. But""?? This cue is a better player than the black boars, or vollmers, or szambotis, that you have owned??!!! You have owned some great cues!!! I send best wishes to you & yours, paul "pvd1".

Paul this is all I can say

Dave is honestly in the top 10 if not 5 cue makers in the world period. His work wasn't commonly known in USA because of his cues were exclusively sold to lucky who sold them in Japan for top dollar. But now there a hand full of dealers who have his cues and you can order direct with a wait. His attention to detail is up there with the finest and he has a unique style.
Yes this cue has played better than all my previous cues. That's not to say my previous cues didn't hit good this one is just better This cue is just an insane hitting sob hahaha it's unreal I can't even believe it myself it's a dream you need to buy one
 
This cue looks so simple, Just send it over to me Steve. I have a real nice Haley that you might like, But it is not for sale. Nice cue, Congrats Steve.:bow-down::bow-down::bow-down:

FYI your next cue will be done soon hahahahahahah your gonna fall over ;)
 
That's a great looking cue. The letter is a really classy touch as well. Proves to me that it would be a pleasure dealing with him.

Dave said in his entire cue making career he has never came across a piece or pieces that he's obtained, of Brazilian rosewood. The age is estimated to be upwards of seventy some years old

Yes sir he is a great person...

I don't advise against dealing with him direct but you will wait 2+ years.

I might suggest talking to his new dealers now that he is making his cues available in the USA directly it will cut down on this time because the have a few slots already and also can take a custom order

Contact worminator or his co. New 2 you q's (jamie) or jazznpool Or his co. Superior cues (Martin) they will take Care of you too, if you prefer direct that fine too.
