I've never used Ivor-X. What are the differences between it and Juma concerning machining, finish, and hit?

Machining, it doesn't ribbon like Juma. It cuts more like melamine but softer .

It polishes perfectly . No pits or discoloration.

It hits harder than Juma .
 
This is the way they look.
These two are .700" long, I cut down for an AZB'r who had 5/8" long ferrules.
I kept the cap and the alignment shoulder but trimmed the length of the cap and threads.

Ivor-X is opaque. You can see through it a little at the bottom ( it has 5/16 ID there ). You can't see through on the top b/c it's a cap.
It is not chalk or toothpaste white . It polishes real nicely.

Hello, are the ferrules drilled, im just looking for some ivor-x rod as im keen to experiment for snooker cue ferrules. only needs to be half an inch thick.
please let me know, im having trouble finding a supplier for this.

Sorry, I don't sell them as rods anymore.
 
Joey, you should have gotten my order. If they are what I think I will only be offering one type (not counting real Ivory) ferrule with choice of 2 tips next week when my Hightower arrives.

I will be leaving a wide door open but as Henry Ford used to say, The Car comes in any color as long as you want Black.:smile:
