A good idea to invest in a "X" rest and a spider rest?

Theres only one rest needed. screw it onto a normal rest and have a connection in the butt to accept a telescopic extension.

Might cost about £50 all in but theres not a position it wont suit. I was lucky i bought one on ebay new for £14 a couple of years ago inc the rest,the shaft, the tele and postage. One of my best ever purchases.

Does anyone know if U.S. distributors have ever carried the Flexi-Rest? I looked around a bit but didn't find any.
One of those rests would've saved me a foul or two. Or four.

I doubt anyone stocks it in the USA but postage of the head itself wouldn't be much and adding it to a wooden rest is easily done.
I'm surprised it 's not commonly found over here really even the web page of the maker went down way back. Steve Davis plugged it on tv and it won a tv competition for inventors a couple of yeasrs back too.
