Thanks, Robin! I'll definitely be looking for it and weigh in with my experience once I watch the DVD, do some practicing, and attempt to get comfortable with it all.

I've never seriously attempted jump shots before, so I'm excited to see what I can do with it.

Sooooooo, what's your next DVD going to be about? ;)

My next project is to try and learn how to market...outside the billiard industry. I believe that those fellows sitting at home watching pool would LOVE to be able to Jump a ball. My DVD is able to show even them. So I would like to learn how to reach them, once that happens I believe Nehemiah's is around the corner.

I'm trying to just keep my eye on the ball :)

Had a great response from some bigger players...Cue and Case, Muellers, and a couple others. Were sending over our photos for their catalog.
Very cool! Great trip even though I didn't have a booth. Feels kind of weird not having a booth!

My wife called and said the DVD arrived today (I'm in Michigan until Friday). I can't wait to get back and watch it!

Now she wants to follow me to my favorite pool hall and make sure my "pool partners" are not as lovely as you :smile:

It's been 20 years and I still remember that goofy commercial about "Pretty Boy Floyd and the POWER DRAW!" Marketing is a strange craft. And today is a far different environment than 20 yrs ago.

Just showed Roy's mom and brother the DVD for the first time...they were SHOCKED they know nothing about pool but they totally enjoyed the DVD.
Cool feeling for sure!

Orders are coming in...from all over, word of mouth is spreading...its amazing!
It really is a fun DVD...and of course Great teaching ;).... lots of do over's but we got it done...and so far so good...still getting ideas everyday about marketing.

Had a brain storm idea, oh my goodness if it works I may be launching my DVD Big time! Not sure if you guys know this about me yet...but learning how to Market is like running lots of racks to me ;)

I ordered mine from the website, and to be honest, I've never been a fan of jumping, but after watching your demo, I'm gonna give it a shot with my playing cue.

I loved my Judd cue...but they don't jump. No matter how well a cue may shoot it doesn't mean it can jump. Once in a while you might get over a quarter ball at a distance.
I use to not like jump cues, because 1 I didn't know how to use them and the ladies would bring theirs out and it took their game up a level past mine.
Then, I surrendered...I got 1 and the rest is history! Just because players have jump cues doesn't mean they know how to use them...trust me that is the norm.
The DVD is designed for a jump cue....everything about the shot is different than with a playing cue....with my DVD everything is stroke and follow-through.
You won't hammer the cue, you will stroke the shot smoothly.
