Well it took about a month, but I tore the whole shop apart and redid it. Every machine has a dust collector hooked up to it. Feels good to have everything organized!

Ya I gotta start making some cues to pay for all the upgrades! Neighbor of mine sold me the Vidmar and a Fluke multimeter for $100. Thought it was a good deal.

There is no substitute for the quality AND deep drawers. LOVE the 30 inch deep drawers!
May I suggest you also have a look at the 56 inch Harbor Freight box?
I know it is Chinese, but it is GREAT! Has the deep drawers as well.
For 800.00 bucks? I have had one for a year and think I'll buy another.

You'll never find anything now - you'll always be looking for "it" where it used to be and not where "it" is now - you need to do these things slowly so your mind can make a new map of where things are - you are going to be so discombobulated for the next month you won't get anything done!!!

Gary, I'd like to say that you are wrong, but I already caught myself looking for something where it was and couldn't remember what I did with it! It will take a little while, but in the long run I will be better off.

I was just in this shop on saturday for the first time ever. It is THAT clean and Steve is a great host. Steve definitely has alot of good stuff going on in the shop. He let me use his own personal cue to shoot with while we were shooting the breeze. Nice solid hit with good feedback.
One of the reasons that I took pics is because it will never be that neat again!
Nothing on the inlay table. I use clamps to hold the inlay material down.

The close up of your CNC/Spindle machine is very helpful. I see you did a 2-bed/2-headstock design. I assume you do tapers on one and inlays on the other?
I'm in the planning for my next CNC and have been thinking about that design - another member here shared a picture of his and it was also a 2-bed design.
Has that worked out well for you?
