The International Cue Collector Show (ICCS) is set for October 8 at the Westin St. Louis Hotel in downtown St. Louis. Portions of the weekend event are by invitation only, but there is a public showing of all the cues on display on Saturday, October 8, from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. Admission fee is $10. No vendors, just cuemakers and exhibiting cuemakers.

13-15 of the world`s top cuemakers regularly exhibit at this event, and all cuemakers exhibiting will have their cues for sale, traditionally bringing their best new work.

16-18 of the world`s top cue collectors will also be on hand with some of their high end cue collections on display, not for sale. These will include some of the most expensive, and some of the most historic cues ever built. Rare Balabushkas, high end Gus Szambotis, and many, many more will be on hand for you to photograph and enjoy.

All of the cuemakers and collectors are very accessible and love to talk about what they have on site, either for sale or on display. If you like custom cues, the ICCS is a fun event to attend.

If you have any questions, please send me an email at prout5809@aol.com or just send me a pm via AZ.

Is there a list of exhibiters?

Lou Figueroa

Hi Lou,

There are a couple of moving parts still, so we have not published a list of exhibiting cuemakers or collectors. I expect this to be final in the next couple of days.

Thanks.

Will

Lou,

Please note that I have added the list of Exhibiting Collectors and Displaying Cuemakers to the initial post of this thread.

This is shaping up to be one of the best ICCS shows ever, so anyone within driving distance should try to make the Saturday showing. Nowhere else in the world can you see so many high-end and rare cues all in one place.

Tank you, tank you berry much, Will. Sounds good, but I may be out of town.

BTW, I know you guys will be tied up with the show and accompanying falderal, but any guys so inclined might want to head over across the river to The Break, in Cahokia, for a Midwest 9ball event that weekend. It's like five minutes from the Westin downtown, always some action, top flight players, good steaks, cheap beer and drinks. Terry and Coop are most excellent hosts.

Lou Figueroa
oh yes, you will pass a couple of strip clubs on the way...
not that youze guys would be interested in any of that :-)

How is it decided or how does someone qualify to display or sell?

I have booked my airline reservations & will be stayin in the Westin. This will be my first time in St. Louis, and my very first Cue Maker/Collector show so needless to say I am VERY VERY excited. I will be star struck, but I hope that the CM's are approachable and easy to speak with.

I view cuemakers as most people view sport/movie/pop stars.... so I can not wait to get there. Just wanted to share my excitement.

:happydance: :dance::bow-down::love:

I may also go over to check out the tourney across the river.

Any other good pool rooms around St. Louis (Im not going to rent a car unless I just have to, so within walking, bus, metroline distance)

I also wouldnt mind meeting up with some fellow AZers if any are in the area, shoot me a PM, maybe we can make arragements.

KT <-------Getting more & more excited as it draws closer

Regrettably, no. Over the last several years we have lost several good to great pool rooms, like Chesterfield Billiards, Mark Wilson's room, Sharkey's, and The Sports Center. The Break is the last room in the St. Louis area worth going to -- it's a five minute cab ride. I'm told, though I have not been, that Baxter's is OK, about 20 minutes across the river from the Westin. There are no pool rooms downtown.

Sounds like something that would be worth the drive to see. I live about 2 1/2 hours away, but may have to try and shuffle some things around to get there. Would give me a reason to stop by Cahokia and see a few familiar faces as well. I'll post again when I'm sure either way. Hope I won't have to Greyhound it back home (trading a vehicle for something I have to have :p ).

Hello..........

Will, reserve me a nice Pete Tonkin Cue;):D

Hi Ralf,

Hope all is well with you! I hear that Pete is bringing some spectacular cues to the show. I wish you lived closer.

We need to hold an ICCS show in Europe!
