Although the pool-related example doesn't really give a good demonstration of what the article is talking about, it's a common enough reference that most people will understand it.

Just remember, be very careful when trying to cut a ball too thin. If you cut it thin enough to split an atom, you might cause a nuclear explosion! :yikes: :grin-square:
