Pic of my Simonis 860 - is this a problem?

While you're having your cloth re-stretched, be sure to have your slate re-adjusted, and have that "spackle" replaced with some bondo.

Sounds like you need to enlist the help of a qualified table mechanic.

I was having the same issue with the seams. When we went to fix those it turned out the cloth was super loose and the rail bolts were not even tightened. We redid the seams , stretched the simmonis tighter and properly tightened the rail bolts . Table plays great.

Easier said than done. Everybody seems to be an expert. When I had the old cloth removed the guy who put this Simonis on said the old cloth was upside-down! I was out of state at the time it was recovered so I couldn't verify what he was saying.

it's too loose from pic, u need to redone the base.

760 or 860 r low speed cloth but if u find out the bounce between rails r not close to what u expected then curshions need to redone too, it might be bowl missing or too tide which means u need a right worker to do the right job........

Some pool halls may up side down the cloth reduce their expense.....I do not think home use for up side down, it's easy to tell coz it's very smooth.....

About tempurature, if it's fine job then it wont make much difference but u need to vacucm once or twice week to keep cloth clean....

Dan,

Check the "Mechanic Directory" sticky in the "Talk to a Mechanic" forum.
I'm sure you can find someone in your area that is truly "qualified".

If you post your location there, someone will make a good recommendation.
