Looking for a router for the model B, not sure which ones will fit the stock router mount. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Ryobi Model TR45 will fit it, but you have to make a sleeve to go around it.
The body on this model is slightly smaller than the old ones.
I was unable to find the TR30, which is the original for the lathe.
I bought the TR45 at Home Depot.

Hope this helps

As luck would have it, Home Depot is discounting the TR-45K. Go figure. Anyone else got an idea for me?
Thanks.

Call Don at Porper. We talked a few weeks back about making different sleeves for different routers. He may have something made.

Thanks Ryan, wish I would have known that before I ordered the one I just got from him. No mention was made about router capability.

I'm not sure how far forward he went with it. I told him that there were tons of possibilities of router/trimmers. Its hard to keep up with it. It makes it hard to stock items for the possibility of someone calling and ordering one.

I'm pretty sure if you found a router you wanted to stick with for the foreseeable future, something could be made easy enough.

I have a model b and i use a rigid lam trimmer var speed works perfect and it is super quite, life time waranty and it only cost 99 hope this helps Jim Pierce

Hey qbilder the rigid router is great. I have them on four lathes and so far so good. I had one acting up but i took it back and Home Depot switched it out. I made mounts for all of mine and they all have a vacum port i didnt get the mount with my B lathe. Have a good one keep making those beautys...... Jim Pierce

With original mount? I heard the Rigid is a badass router.
