if my handicap is a 6 at 404 and i play like or worst than a 5,am i eligible to play on this event?

This should be a raging fart fest. The races better be real short being handicaps of 5 and under or your going to have to make it a 9 day event.

You have my vote to play in the event, your at least a 3 or maybe a 4 if your breaking well:thumbup:

There you go..someone is voting me in for the tournament.i could be 4 on some days i am playing good ;) ...kidding aside, goodluck to Grace for this event!

For your information we have had several events this summer, we are usually finished on or about 7pm, and all in attendance have a good time, with fairly equal chance of going home with the cash. So before you go insulting these players, who are the ones who make up the majority of the prize money in all other events and hardly ever benefit, get your facts.

First I was joking, second if it ended at 7:00,how many players attended those events?I didn't insult any player but merely stating with lower handicapped tournaments take longer due to the lack of ability but you shouldn't have any issues about that since the normal 16 players show up:)

thats funny i've seen matches in the 404 go over 2 1/2 hours just saying good luck filling up turnaments with out the 5s

Your 100% right,I play on that tour and when Pros are going to 11 the matches can take along time with the alternate break format.I was only joking in my first comment of the thread but in all seriousness a bigger field results in more money and a successful tour.I personally believe it should be 6's and under because it is 8ball which seems to even the playing field out .We just had a 8ball handicapped event in St Catharines were many of the top players were knocked out of the tournament early due to it being 8ball.I wish Grace all the luck in the world,God knows its a hard gig to get a successful tour to keep going in this day and age.:)

Well folks we had 24 entries, everyone got to play 25 games in the round robin, 8 players made the cut for the money and everyone had a great time. All of this for a $35 entry fee!

We were all done and out of there by 8pm! I would rather have a small field of players who enjoy just playing for the sake of playing, and appreciate what you do for them. No drama, no disputes about handicaps and no complaints about the money, made for a very enjoyable day. This tour is not for those who are looking to grab the cash, it is for those who want to get lots of match play and improve their game, along with the opportunity to make a little cash.

Our finale will be on March 10th, 2012 at Big Wig's and it will be a $1000 added event. You must participate in at least 2 events to be eligible for the championships. There are a lot of you out there who can participate in this tour, with your help we can build this into something big! There is NO MEMBERSHIP required, just your participation in helping us to grow our sport from the grassroots level.

A special thank you to Lucasi Cues, Simonis Cloth and Atlas Billiard Supplies for their generosity, and to Big Wig's and Stroker's for hosting our events.

See you at Strokers December 10th!
