Garth Bair

Maker of OnQcases
I started creating custom cue cases about 10-12 years ago. Not doing great...just doing. I got a call from an eye doctor...said he saw my website, talked to a few people and wanted to order a case...but he had some ideas that he wanted to share with me prior to the order.
Okay I thought....an eye doctor....but I listened and as I listened I realized I was in the presence of a true "for love of the game' individual as well as a gentleman. So much for that part of my post.

Today I was surfing AZBilliards in the "main forum", "wanted for sale" and "cases/cues" area. I can not say it was a bad experience...just felt a little emply...Doug was not there.

Over the years, Doug has touched so many people that I know...all in a most positive way.

I miss his presence. Funny how an individual can be such a positive influence on so many in such an indirect way.

I want the positive feeling of knowing him and his positive effect back. I am going to work hard at getting it back. I know that is what he would want.

great post garth.....doug was a great guy and my thoughts are with his family and close friends....

another big +1. I can't believe my buddy is gone:(

That goes for me too cliffy!! I don't think I'll ever have anyone as close as Doug and I became. Everyday I wake up and feel the loss of our friend.
Sadly, Vinny

miss ya Doug.....
