I recently sold a Sterling case here at AZB. The Buyer sent me the money via Paypal, and I shipped the case out to the confirmed Paypal address that was listed with the Paypal receipt. I contacted the buyer to let him know that his case had shipped the day following payment as promised. The buyer then contacted me, telling me that his address was something entirely different than that which was listed on the Paypal receipt. I have asked him to contact me via a PM to confirm that his address was indeed the alternate address. So far I have received nothing. I am going to send a PM to his AZB handle, and see if I get a return response. I also contacted the buyer via e-mail, to tell him that I will try to head the shipment off at the pass. I am a little cornfused here. Should I attempt to regain, or reroute the item, if I do NOT receive any further contact from the buyer. I am not suggesting that I am being scammed, as this has all just happened in relatively short order, and I have indeed received payment. The item has been shipped, so I am in relatively new water here, and would appreciate any/most any, opinions as to how to proceed. Thank you to all in advance....

The way I see it is that if he paid by pay pal..and he is pay pal confirmed, and thats the address you sent it to you have done your part. When I buy something I always send a pm with my mailing address to the seller as soon as payment is sent as well as letting them know I am pay pal confirmed and I let them know also that my info is on pay pal also in case there is a problem or they erase the pm by chance. I would just try to get in contact with them and just give them your shipping info so you can verify you done your part and shipped to thier confirmed address. The rest is up to them....Just my opinion...< ED

If you the seller ship it to a different address than the confirmed Paypal you lose any protection from paypal. If he claims he never got it, and you shipped it to a different address than paypal its on you.

Not saying the OP is scamming you, but this was a fairly popular ruse a while back. The buyer would pay thru paypal have you ship to a different address then say they never got it and reverse the charge thru paypal and get the item and get the money back. (not saying this person is doing that) but thats the reason I say only ship to the confirmed address....my 2 cents

You've done your part, its on the OP if it was supposed to go somewhere else(they should have changed the paypal address if need be)

Thanks for your input. That is kind of how I'm leaning on this. If the buyer will contact me as requested, I will be willing to work with them. I want an equitable resolution....I am hoping for a positive outcome.
Thanks again.
