We'll see if this works...any ideas on this one??? Yep, it's on Craigslist...nope, I'm not saying where yet... ;)

Pin looks like a 5/16x14 piloted...almost looks like a Brunswick "style" forearm...

Sure that's not a 5/16x18?

First I thought maybe Imperial.

Then I thought maybe National.

Nope...the only thing I'm sure of is that I'm not as smart as I once thought I was! :D

I thought at first 5/16x18...but I looked closer and it just didn't look like that small of thread...plus now I'm going to really show my ignorance - I'd never heard of a 5/16x18 piloted...(I'm mentally hitting the fetal position waiting for the "bash the dummy" comments to start!). :p

Lots of them are piloted. I have several. The one I posted above is such a thing....with ringwork like yours.....

5/16-18 piloted is used by players cues for one and I have seen a j&j or two before with that pin. As far as an I'd I am kinda leaning in the way of national.

I have an Espiritu with a 5/16-18 piloted as well as an Adam and others. Many have used it.

Depends on what you want/like and how much it is.

It's probably right up my alley, I don't mind the cheaper cues, they can be fun. Check my signature.

Of course...we don't have a positive ID. Unless you know already and are just playing with us.

I wish I was "cool enough" to put a thread up of "guess the maker" already knowing who the maker is...but everytime someone posts one of those threads, I might as well just guess "Joss" everytime because I'm nowhere even close to being right!!! :o

As far as the price...it's a steal...even if it's worth $35... :yikes:

Hey, I miss most of them. The fun is in the trying.

I've posted a couple trying to figure out what they were and I got so much help here.

How about a link to the sale? :)

By the way, if it were an "old" national, it could be worth something. Those cues were built by some of the "greats".

Don't be too hasty with Google results. Just a thought.

To be honest, it does look like a "cheap" cue though. As I said, right up my alley. I actually really like that Inperial from that other thread, and I really dig the looks of the one you found......from what I can see anyway.

Yeah......I'm a cheap date.......

Too funny...I just called the ph# in the listing...I had to leave a message...it was a female's voice that answered, so I'm hoping it's an ex-wife or ex-girlfriend that has no idea of what she's selling...

If it's still available...and she'll mail it, I might just pick it up and pass the "savings" on to you Chopdoc!!! :D

It's really got my curiosity up...I did this one other time and paid too much for a piece of junk...

Okay...while typing this reply, I got a phone call back from the seller...she's going to mail it to me for $30 total (it was listed for $10)...I guess we'll see...I'll post better pics when/if it shows up!!!

Now we're having fun!

Post that bad boy up when you get it!

Always interesting when the shipping is more than the cue. LOL!

I've paid too much for crap before, I considered it a charitable act since the seller needed the help. I have more than made up for it at flea markets and pawn shops though, so it's cool.

Move over Szam and Bushka posts.....we got some trash to display! :nanner:

I guess I like my cues the way I like my beer and my women....cheap..... :D

So....if it don't turn your crank....maybe I would want it. I certainly would have for ten bucks!

Well....if you want something unusual, try to find one 3/8x10 piloted......

Yes, there is such a thing.

Also, this cue features a 3/8"-10 piloted joint, whcih is very rare on his cues, or other cues

That was a VERY TRUE statement!!! She wanted $10 for the cue...I told her I'd give her $20 for the shipping...I was going to offer $10 for the shipping too, but I wanted a cue that I can now say it cost twice as much as the cue cost to ship the dang thing...dang high postage rates! :D

I'll post some beautiful pictures of this "high-end" beauty once it's in my hands...I'm gonna crap my pants if it plays better than my other cues...I'm not really all that worried...well...maybe a little...I just hope it shoots better than my highly collectable "Budweiser" cue!

We're in the middle of a "buyer's market" and you just tossed all that out the window!

I think you did more to boost the economy with that one transaction than all the politicians in Washington could ever dream of! :D

EDIT: I have to say that's incredibly shrewd of you. You boosted the value of the cue by a couple hundred percent. LOL!

Mine has a flat bumper with a screw through it, and the pin looks a little flatter
