Pro tourney question....

Do any of the pro tourneys start off being played on 7ft tables then switch to 9fters when they get down to the last 8 players

I've never heard of that before. It might make it easier on space constraints but I wouldn't want to play all day long on bar boxes only to make it to the finals and be on a 9'.

I wouldn't be surprised what you could find going on today. There is a lot of pretty tacky stuff going on.
here in texas we are cursed with some many of the useless 8 ft tables and few 9 foots that often the finals go from 8 fters to the 9 fts.
