FS - RARE Bert Schrager Snakewood Cue

Ryan

Great cue. I laughed out loud at you sending it to Scott for a refinish when it was brand new. You said you were on the phone with Bert so you were never in his shop?

Thanks

Kevin

nope Kevin…never made it to the shop - I was invited countless times, just couldn't justify flying to Cali to eat a chicken fried steak with Bert…in hindsight 10 years later, I should have

same with Ernie I suppose ?

that is correct…

The two shops were like on 2 different planets, nothing similar except some cues were made in each.

That's a great cue out of a pretty and difficult material from a deceased hall of fame maker and well worth the money.

Good luck with it.

i paid way more for this cue back in 2002…so I would agree the price is a good deal all the way around :D

I also had Scott finish two brand new Schragers in my collection due to flaws in the finish. Bert was about 82 or 83 when I got them from him.

I am sitting here scratching my head wondering why this cue hasn't sold? This is a lot of cue for the money and one that actually will increase in value from the asking price. I wish I hadn't just dumped a bundle of money in Ebony Franklin Southwest or I would have offered you your asking price. Good luck with the sale!! Bump

butt is 29
shafts are 28
pred is 30

pred has a few scratches in the ferrule from a bad tip job but plays dang good - all of the shafts play dang good
