Just curious how you can call it a state championship and not let top pros play in it, never seen that before. How can they be the state champion if they cannot beat the best pro player who resides in the state?, they would be an amateur state champion then.

This tournament was started in Indiana Pa at Lucky Break Billiards by Ernie Lorelli and continued by Gary Nolan when he took it over. Luck Break closed last year and Paul is trying to contuinue what Ernie and Gary did. The no top touring pros rule has been in effect since the tournament began. I have seen several State championships use this rule. There are several top players in PA and surrounding states that will make for a great tournament both the One Pocket an 9-Ball

I have added a one pocket torunament to go along with the nine ball for those of us that like some action. The field is open to all players except the top 32 pros and anyone who won a major tournament in the past 5 years regardless of which stae or country they reside.

you say several, please name two or even three states

with all due respect, of course, this is just my humble opinion but I happen to agree with Lenny

very nice to see that you included OnePocket
