Help ID'ing a 90-95 era Josswest

Hi All,
After carving out a dry-rotted bumper in an attempt to ID my new Josswest I did not find what I was expecting - hoping someone can shed some light:
What I thought I would find from the 90-95 era (assumed since no external markings):

The cue:

Any ideas?

The cue could have been engraved on the ivory hoppe ring, which was then lost at some point when it was refinished ??

It might have been lightened. Is it possible someone put that bolt on a lathe and faced off an ounce or two where the #'s were? It would have been an easy operation, but not very well thought out :)

Sounds crazy now, but I had an ivory buttcap put on my Black Boar and never had the Boar insignia used......but we all know Boars!

good luck with it!

Thanks for the input everybody - wasn't anticipating being so interested in the genealogy of my cue.

After falling for said cue around Christmas I arranged to meet the seller at the Derby and it was independently confirmed by a few sources as a Josswest - radial pin and all.
Due to the condition of the bumper I highly doubt is had ever been removed so I do not believe any reconditioning occurred.
Finding it interesting that maybe not all cues from this era had engraved weight bolts.... Hmmmm. The mystery continues.

Thanks again - any knowledge appreciated & welcome!

P.S. still looking for info on the original bumpers - .875" diameter mushroom style? Found some .875" dome style but still searching...

Bump for a fresh set of eyes.
Anyone ever heard of an unmarked Josswest from 90-95?

With a living cue maker only one standard will do with an unmarked cue. He needs to acknowledge the work. Show it to him.

I have tried to resist bothering Bill in his retirement, but you bring up a good point.

If anyone has current contact info I would most appreciate as I would like to put this to rest. PM me if necessary.

Thanks again!
